Bennington Triumph Bash

I happened to speak with Dave Rosen, the Eastern Regional Rep for Triumph last night. I asked him what is the most popular selling Triumph in the US. SO take a guess-DON'T GOOGLE IT! Just take a quick guess!

Most popular over a number of years, or for a specific year?

Over the longer term, I'd guess Bonnie or Speed Triple. If we're just looking at individual years, I'd guess Tiger 800 for 2011 and maybe 2012.

Just go ahead and tell us, Matt. We're running out of choices. It's unlikely to be any of the cruisers or the Trophy because the cruiser market is way down and the luxobarge tourer market isn't that big to begin with. And if it's not the Tiger 800, Bonnie, or Speed Triple, that just leaves the Tiger Explorer (unlikely) and the Daytona.

Oh, I was assuming the Thruxton would be lumped in with the Bonneville, because it is one with a different front wheel and handlebars.

Still, I'm surprised that's a bigger seller than the Bonnie itself.
