RAIN DATE?

Postby drlapo » Mon Jan 28, 2008 2:56 pm

is an alternative date planned should we get rained out?
I'm not referring to showers but what happens if we get 4 days of heavy nasty weather?
I know its the old "wet blanket" but somone had to say it

That same question has been on my mind since I made reservations.
There is no way I will ride up there in pouring rain and there is no way I will
go if I can't bring my bike.
This is the first that I know of some one mentioned rain.
It would most definitely suck if it does.

some things are better when wet, but I'm not one of them

I guess we will have to watch the weather channel (MTV for boomers) and decide when the day arrives

I'm going down to the casino and ask them to do an anti rain dance for us

I guess the people that come from 1132 miles away(and some even further) don't have the same options as some of the more local people. I'm trying not to use the p word here and if you said you aren't riding in the rain and your offended then you figured out what the p word is.

I will be watching the weather real close when the time comes.
I don't like getting my panties wet. I will be happy to let you real men
enjoy yourselves in the cold poring rain. Then you can tell us P's about all the fun you had.

Rain

Postby TonUp » Mon Jan 28, 2008 8:48 pm

It's only water! And you can always wear rain gear! I ride in the rain all the time. The best part is that we get a hot shower and party after! LOL

My offering to the sun gods is on my leg, shaved head. If RA wants me then he needs to find me in this frozen hell hole we call MAINE!!

Speed my offering to you is as follows.

Good luck with the dancing!!!

P.S. I know RA is an Egyptian sun god, but after some rum and coke, minus 1/2 the coke it is all I got right now.
