I just wanted to say we had a GREAT time at the Bennington Bash, it was our first time, and better than expected. We did not get in early enough for the Top of the Hill Grill run in Brattleboro, but it sounded great. We went out on Saturday for a ride on our own and wound up at the Whetstone Station and Brewpub in Brattleboro, and would just like to mention it as a possible stop. It has a wide selection of beers on draft, a great menu, and the scenery is incredible, located on the water, with outdoor seating. The address is 36 Bridge St, Brattleboro ,Vt. Just an idea, but to also let everyone know we really enjoyed ourselves at the Bash.....

Phil, the owner of the Paradise was telling us about that place as well. Will have to make a point to stop there sometime in the future.

I hate to be contrary, and I rarely say anything negative about a place, but I went there the week before BTB and the only thing I liked was the view. The beer selection was mediocre at best (although I'm told it changes daily), the food was between ok and bad for the various items, and the service was terrible. On the bright side, the manager was good when we complained and she ended up comping us two beers and an app. I doubt I'll be going back though.
