AMERICADE June 2-7, 2008

Cheers Everyone!

Just received my Americade Times magazine in the mail. I am sure there will be plenty of other bikes around during our 2008 BASH, I plan on taking a ride over to Lake George a couple of times to check out some of the action at the corner of Duffees Tavern and the bikes on main street. I also plan on visiting the local Ice Cream stands!

Hey tonup, Let me know when you plan on riding over to Lake George. I was just given a copy of the Americade Times today by a customer. I want to cruise over and check it out. It would be a shame to be that close to it and not go. I hear Triumph is supposed to have a booth there.? I'm sure there are some other MEME/Rat members that might want to go to it.

I usually go one night during the week, and perhaps on friday night into saturday. Last year I attended the RAT dinner with Mark. We had a cool ride down there.

I will let you know when.

Triumph did had DEMO rides this year.

Yeah... and if I go again this year I'm finding a place to crash post-dinner, because the ride home in the dark, paranoid about deer jumping out into the road for the entire 100 miles, really sucked.

You will be joining us at the Bennington Bash? I need to find out when the Triumph dinner is at Lake George during Americade. Usually on Saturday. I live less than an hour away so I can make it there pretty quick.

Mark is right, it pays to spend the night. I rather stay there park the bike and drink more! LOL

How much notice do you need? I will know more in a couple of months. Hope that is ok.

Mark? What do you think?

I could try to email Dave Harvey to see if he's doing the Triumph dinner again, but traditionally it's on the Saturday of Americade, which would be the weekend following the Bennington Triumph Bash.

I don't think any Americade events really kick off until Tuesday or so, so I'm not sure that riding over on Sunday and leaving Monday would have much point.
