I know winter is on it's way but I am not quite ready to put up the V-Strom yet for the season. I guess I will be riding it tomorrow to work. It is snowing pretty good right now.

I put the Bonneville in the garage on Sunday. But the Honda won't be getting put away at all.

Rode it to work yesterday. It was 21 degrees out when I left home. I didn't ride it today though -- there's a coating of slushy sleet all over everything. Nasty out there.

Yeah, since I can't afford to go snowboarding anymore, snow is a bit of a drag.

Mark, come visit Long Island sometime, you'll miss snow again... There's still leaves on the trees. About half have fallen I'd say. Luckily, I JUST got new tires on my car Friday. It's a company car, so I don't have much choice, but it's also RWD, so I need all the help I can get :) I feel much better about my trip to VT tonight!

I really dislike snow. If I wasn't saving for a Ducati 1098 R, I would buy some skis and get back into winter, I do maintian my Pats seaons tix and those are not cheep, but I have to do something this winter...winter sucks...I suppose I should save for the bike trips this summer(like the BTB)... the bikes and everything that goes on with the bikes like rides and maint.... take up any extra funds. I could not think of a better way to spend my hard earned money though.

I own 2 4x4s and a four wheeler a gator and we cant get it to snow. 1 out of every 6 years or so we get enough snow to close things down like work and school. Bonneville is fueled up and ready for weekend maybe another 200 miler this weekend. Toy and poker runs are everywhere around here this time of year. Gets to much for ya up there come on down for the weekend I got something you can ride might be a vintage but we will ride. Winter project is the 66 cafe for the Bash if winter ever gets here.

Every new years there's a DJ named "Fingers" who hosts a "Cold Fingers Run". A couple years ago it was like 70 and they had a 10 mile long chain of bikes or sometihng rediculous. 3000 bikes or whatever. IT was crazy. I passed under them while they were crossing the highway I was on and they were still going across the overpass when I lost em over the horizon... I don't completely winterize my bike either. A little stabil and a battery tender, but I start it up every couple weeks at least.

6 inches yesterday

Jiminy Peak is the ski area south of Bennington? Of course Stratton is not that far. Okemo in Ludlow has been making a lot of snow.

Little plug for Bromley if you like a smaller, easier pace mountain. Good variety of terrain, and cheaper than stratton I think.
