2012 Minuteman Rallies

Mark-feel free to remove this if not appropriate but I thought I'd share a nearby event I am doing the weekend after the Bash:
The Minuteman 1000 is an Iron Butt Assoc sanctioned event http://www.minuteman1000.com/
Correct completion (timing, receipts at checkpoints) earns an IBA certificate, pin, and license plate bracket.

It starts and ends nearby in Northampton, MA. There is an Open 24 Hour Rally and a Saddle Sore 1000 event. The SS1000 route is here beginning and ending at the Clarion Conference Center in Northampton the Saturday after the Bennington Bash: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=201651386608231764168.0004b90251e9a5eaf0ee2&msa=0
and going clockwise up to the VT border, Bangor ME, down 95 to CT, then back to MA.

Its about $450 for the 2 nites in the hotel plus the entry for the SS1000; the 24 Hour Open Rally is a little less.

There are 27 bikes so far, only 2 Triumphs- me and a Thrux from NH. Come join us and represent!
