Postby LoVel » Mon Aug 29, 2011 7:01 pm

I an no longer an outcast among outcasts. I traded in the VFR on a Scrambler Saturday. Hip Hip Hooray!!!
I am now an incast among outcasts. Is that a word? 2010 Black Scrambler with 7 miles. I am so excited I could pop. Yes I am riding it to Bennington next year.

Awesome, Paul! I'm a little jealous; I want a Scrambler. :) Enjoy that thing, and I can't wait to see it in Bennington!

I finally sold my blue sprint & just picked up my white speed triple on Sat. With the crappy roads I think I'll still ride my tiger to the bash.

Thanks. I am still smiling. Reminds me of when I bought the Sprint. These Triumph motorcycles have some kind of magical power.

That Arrow exhaust looks really good. I think I might get a replacement seat first. My butt has never hurt that bad.

Congratulations on that Speed Triple. Awesome.

Lots of seat options-I have Spencer do all my bike seats and and am very pleased. www.greatdaytoride.com. Works a treat, as they say.

I have sent him an email. There is no way he could make it worse. If it wasn't for liking the look of the original seat so much I would have already ordered the Corbin.

It took a while but Spencer finally got back in touch with me after the third try. My seat is on it's way to him as we speak. Took it to UPS yesterday and as of 9 this morning it was leaving Albany GA. Should be somewhere on I95 by now heading down to south FL.

Spencer does a good job-especially for the price. Did my Tiger seat-best money spent.

I am glad o hear that KoF says good things as well. I can hardly wait to get it back. Spencer emailed me last night and told me he would complete it today and it would begin it's journey back to me before the end of the day.

The difference is a bit on the "steathly" side. The seat will appear stock and when you first sit on it you go "ok, what did he do? Feels almost the same." Then, after 30 miles you'll go "This is great!" Well done", or something like that!

Just did 1300 miles on my Tiger last weekend-each "Spencer" mile was better than the last. I really felt like I could have gone to the west coast and back.

He did send me an email telling me break in miles would be important but no more than a few tanks of gas.

I love reading the post from the guy with the new Tiger that he's jealous of your new Scrambler!!! Sheesh, he probably has a few thousand miles on it already and it's lost the new bike smell (here's hoping your back on two wheels sooner rather than later, Mark!).

In any case, congrats on the new bike! The Scrambler might be my favorite of the new old Bonnevilles. Love the high pipes and I look forward to seeing it next year.
