Left Bennington at 9:30, got back to Harrisburg, PA at 5pm. Had a bit of rain going over the Catskills in NY but other than that it was another great day of riding.

1196 miles this weekend.

See you all next year!

:) Left at 7am after another enthusiastic session at Full Bellies with the usual suspects...and arrived back at my little piece of Perry-dise at 11:45...281 mile return trip...1117 total for the weekend and not any rain...I'm disappointed...I'm always looking forward to some rain riding :lmao: Always a good time seeing everyone and riding the unique roads of Vermont...makes me think I'm on the interstate riding my backroads here...

+1.

After a brief pit stops Bryan and I left litchfield and I got home by 2:30. Traffic home on the local road was brutal.

Had a great time again and maybe if I attend a few more I'll finally remember everyone's real name.

Thanks to all that helped put this event together.

Much praise to all those responsible (including weather Gods & Goddesses) for another fantastic Bennington event. Got a chance to hang with some of my favorite folk, and meet a few new faces. Home safe after my extensive 75 mile trip. Love to see some photos if any are so inclined to post. No gots any myself.

Alan, excellent job on the t-shirts and yuenglings which were enjoyed by all at the campsite.

We "rolled" into Ottawa last night around 8pm :)

Image

Boo. My buddy Paul (on the left) had what should have been a minor tipover on Saturday afternoon when he pulled to the side, went to put his foot down on the grassy shoulder and found only air, resulting in him and his DR650 taking a dirt nap in a low ditch while I was taking a blissful leak in the woods. Unfortunately he tweaked his back badly

Image

and he is on some awesome drugs (just look at his face!), so we had to truck back from Rutland.

Mega thanks to Jim, on the right:

for riding up with me Sunday and changing his plans to help sort out the logistics. It was not the preferred end to our bash, but we both still had an awesome time and Paul is doing fine. Thanks to everyone for a great weekend!
Mike

PS - Uhaul is the biggest piece of shit vehicle I have ever driven. Biggest. Piece. Of. Shit.
PPS - Canada Customs is hilarious.
