I was out for a ride on Sunday for a few hours(Ah, that heated gear!). Did the Litchfield area and stopped over at Toymakers Cafe. Next ride I'll get a few pics. Watch out for sand and gravel on the roads!

Yeah, I rode about 100 miles each on Saturday and Sunday. Christ, our roads are in terrible shape! One thing's for sure, Tito's not going to be leading the sportbike crew over the App Gap this year. Cracks in the road have opened up wide enough to swallow a front tire.

got out last Thursday for about 100 miles. Rode over to Letchworth State Park and sat by the falls and railroad bridge and read a book for awhile. Very peaceful. Got back on the bike and rode some more. Roads were pretty decent but after all this snow I'm sure they will be salted & graveled up again! New helmet arrives Friday so I'll probably wear it watching tv! I'm thinking the next nice day is a ride out to Naples in the Finger lakes for some grape pie!

My new Shoei Qwest is supposed to show up today as well. It will be a little while before the roads are ready...Mr. salt & Mr. gravel are back. The rain last week was great but alas...we live in WNY so Spring doesn't arrive until July.

maybe Thursday...I'm rationalizing this because I "have" to try the new helmet! After awhile I believe we're immune to the cold as long as the sun is out! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

my youngest son graduates from UCONN in May, I'm getting old and before he takes off to find his fortune and maybe joins the Navy I want to take a couple of rides around New England with him. He manages a local business and can't take off more than a day or two at a time
can anyone offer sugggestions for "day trips" (or mutiple days) around the north east?
