Rumor has it they'll be available in the UK by the end of the year, US in the spring. I'm first on my Triumph dealer's list to get one. I very much hope to be riding one to the BTB next year.
Pricing is rumored to be around the same as the Street Triple R.
And yeah, Tito, I'll probably sell my Wee-Strom too. It's been a good bike, but this new Tiger is going to be way more fun. Lighter than the Strom, about 100hp, and a Triumph triple... how can I say no?

We are looking for another bike to replace Janet's V-Strom with 90K miles soon, I have almost 50K on mine and look to get rid of it in a year or two.

Yeah, I've got about 37k on my Wee-Strom, and it's still running perfectly; I just know I won't end up using it much once I have the Tiger. I'll probably try to talk my dad into buying the Wee so at least it stays in the family. And that way I'll have a bike at my parents' house.

Coming along pretty well. Cast came off two weeks ago; wrist is still weak, stiff, and sometimes achy, but it's getting better. I wear a wrist brace when I'm sleeping or on the bike.
And yes, I've been riding -- not as much as usual, but I've been riding to work at least a couple days a week and getting out on weekends. Did 115 miles of mostly dirt roads on the Honda on Saturday. Gorgeous day!

Mark, I hope all is well with you. Get well quick! Wow! That XC is a sweet bike. I just don't trust Triumph on first year bikes. I guess you guys will be the beta testers!

My dealer is taking deposits on the 800 this week. The bike is already listed on their site. Says they will be delivered March/April!

Nice! I'm first on my dealer's list -- I've been pestering him since last spring.
Let's hope the March/April time frame doesn't slip, because I'm planning a trip in May that I want to take this bike on.

You're a brave soul, Mark! You do know it's a completely new motor?
