Hey Rob! Looking forward to seeing the Scram. They are a great looking bike. As for "a gathering of Scrams" at the Bash, I think I have an extra closet that will accommodate the entire group. :lmao:

well...we don't need a lot of Scrams but a smattering would be nice. I need to book my room!

stormrider wrote:Jeff - I'm late to the party, so first off...congrats on the new gig. I echo Sevy's concerns about our Upstate NY dealer limitations. I've got NOONE to go to...so in a selfish mode, please get us someone in ALBANY (or even better, Clifton Park just up the northway).

Oh, and yes, we will be breaking records again this year...goal is 20 Birds of Prey to feed on those Tigers. I wonder if we'll get any new LT's or Commanders???? Without Spitzies, I got nowhere to go test ride one, so maybe B-ton???

Thanks Jamie, and no worries; there is dealer development going on in that area currently. I can update when I know more concrete/not-so-confidential info.

I'm debating bringing my demo LT, I'd be happy to let you ride it at some point during the weekend if we can make it happen. If I trailer up, which I'd rather not, but...I could bring both bikes and that would make it easier to let people try it out possibly.

PixMan wrote:A late congratulations Jeff! I wish you the best. Being in sales myself I've long wanted a job like that, though I missed that opportunity because I wasn't actively looking for it.

I thought you had sold off your RS because you seemed to be posting it around the interweb late last year. Glad you still have it.

BTW, with Triumph winning the Daytona 200 for the first time since Gary Nixon in 1967, sales for the brand (and especially the Daytona 675) should see a little spike. I will want to speak with you in person at the Bash regarding certain dealers.

Thanks! I priced the RS high and I knew it; if it went at that price great, but it's a great bike and super clean so there was no real reason to get rid of it unless the right buyer came along. I can't wait to see what the Daytona results can do for us, I felt it was going to be a great year anyway but that should certainly help. Come find me one of the nights and we'll chat over some beers.

Thanks again everyone, can't wait to see you all again.

The Scrambler contingent will be out in force. I'm thinking at least 3-5 bikes. We rule. :naughty:

You are right Paul. :plusone: The Scrams will make a good showing and I can't wait to start riding the new one. Snow again today in WNY.

  That would be the awesome stuff I play on in the winter Brian...My daughter drove out from Chicago two days ago so she could do a day of sledding with me...We left this morning at 4:30 for Old Forge and had the best time on their groomed trails....In fact she did most of the driving and had a blast....Must be purely genetic....

When I was up there last week everyone I spoke to was from PA...must be a lot of fanatics there too..

I need to move further North :P

Well hey that got cheaper than it was the other day. Last you told me was he wanted it shipped over, how considerate of him to think of you!

Up in the air! It's a bird, no it's a plane, no it's a fat guy on an old R&W Scram! Yeah, Scrambler Kevin is coming this year and he's bringing his new wife. Some of you met her when we had just started dating - at the first BTB.

Not sure about being part of any Scram group. My Scram is a cream puff/trailer queen. Not sure if I want to get her dirty.

I went for a ride up to Bear Mountain day before yesterday and although she isn't as tough as the new Scrams, the '06 R&W is still running like a swiss watch. Starting to get nicely broken in at 64,000 miles.

I just confirmed the reservation I made last year at the Paradise. We're staying in the same room we stayed in for the first BTB.

Glad to hear it. Robin and I look forward to seeing you guys again.

Don't be telling stories about your cream puff Scrambler. Some of us know the truth.
