...I was gonna ask you if you wanted to come west.....hahaha

If I can make this trip we will have to get together and see which routes each other are taking. Maybe we can hook up..

My D&Ds are gutted took all the packing out of them so they are pretty loud. I set car alarms off just riding by the parking lots. It was just an offer if you change your mind let me know.

I've created a map in google and started a new thread with the link to it posted within. You'll need a account with google in order to placemark your location.

Should beable to use this to see where others are located and make arrangements to hookup with each other and make the trip together.

Later...

I ain't got nobody

Postby drlapo » Thu Jan 24, 2008 9:31 am

I am leaving Friday morning from eastern CT
I would like to join someone from RI, MA or CT for the ride up
I will probalby take 44 or 6 into Hartford then continue on 44 to the northwest corner of CT then onto Rt 7 north

I consider myself to be a "sporting" rider: not fast but not Harley slow either

Consider jumping on Rt 8 north from Winstead (by the former Triumph now BMW dealer). Sweet twisties following a river. Then when you get to the stop sign, go left (rt 20) thru the resevoirs and it joins Rt 7 in Lee MA.
02 BA, lots of goodies...
I may live in NY, but I grew up in VT! I'm a local for this one...

I willl consider going thru Winsted and up 8; its a great road
we used to run enduros up through that area, Foothills Trailriders Club, Barkhamsted CT

I can stop by Canton Cycles and check out the Moto Guzzis and Vespa scooters
they don't sell BMW any more but I think they have Victory (not my cup of tea)
