First of all I was say what a joy it was to meet you and ride with you all. It was a pleasure being social and getting to know you as well. Thank you for coming.
On Sunday morning I put on my still soaking wet leather jacket and gloves and headed North with Mark. I froze my butt off, we split off in the Rutland area and I kept heading home to grab a few dry clothes. Mark kept heading North to Cyclewise in Middlebury to let them know I would be there in 15-20 minutes.
I left home at a pretty fast pace and fueled up in Middlebury and Joe the owner of the shop washed my Speed Triple before loading it up in the trailer. From there we headed to West Lebanon NH for dinner with 11 motorcycles in 2 trailers and 2 pickup trucks. I was feeling the effect from the previous two nights at the BASH so I only had one beer with dinner. We continued to the Red Roof Inn in Laconia just south of the NHIS Track. The guys stayed up and party, I went to bed early after a hot shower.
Got up early the next morning, shower, got dressed and went out for coffee and a blueberry muffin. The we headed to the track. I ran in the Intermediate class with a group of about 30 bikes and managed to stay in the top 3 spots all day. You should see my tires they look like hamburger. Very soft and sticky compound. We had and awesome Track Day and headed back home, stopping for dinner at a different restaurant in NH. I had a few beers and a shot of tequila. got home around 10:30 pm and slept like a baby.
I am really looking forward into the Bennington BASH 2009!!!
