ya, when I took you guys through the app gap on Friday, that guy on the R 1 was right over in my lane coming around a blind corner. I never saw, him until he was on top of me. Can you imagin that? And my bike never went down or got any damage out it. I never got hurt, but I came really fucking close that day.

We made up for it that night at the Rusty Nail. You were swillin like a villian. I was drinking rum , and everything else under the sun. I remember dancing with all the cheekas that night. That was awesome. Where did we go for breakfast that Sunday? That was wicked good.

Yeah that was it. I was like 4 or 5 bikes behind you, so I see this guy come thru the corner looking back over his shoulder with a WTF look, and I was like huh? What happened? Then everyone was stopped at the bottom! Someone was like "That guy hit Hank" and I was like "But Hank's right there" I didn't get it! Yeah remember that chica walked like WAY ahead of us to the nail and we didn't know where she was? Good times. Good brew up there too.

as much as I hate harleys I am very proud of the Patriot Guard who sheild the funeral procession from those ass holes. Don't get me wrong I really am not a harley guy and dislike the brand but some of those guys are ex-military and I have huge respect for what they are doing as far as the Patriot Guard go. Most of the Patriots Guard are on HD but they invite all brands into their cause.

Mark, you are so right about that. Thats what fries me about the whole war. Many of the people on the opposite side of the aisle of me, and war protesters in general, are doing so not because of the troops or the war itself, they are doing cause they hate Bush. The real point is their timing. At a time of war, people should keep their trap shut and when it ends then if you want to, vote the ass out of office if you disagree, but to protest during a war is wrong, devisive, and makes our military look week. It makes our soldiers, think that when they come home that they will be looked down on. Whenever I see anybody in uniform, family, friend or even complete stranger, I try to walk up to them, shake their hand, and Thank them for serving their country. I cannot believe how stupid those protestors look. Its their right. Its their right to burn flags and screw authority. Its everyones right. but those rights were given to them by the US military, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, who have served, sacrificed, and even died for those dumb asses protesting, flag burners. Now having said that. That group that professes that they are christians, they give all other Christians a bad name. Not all people who have a strong faith, Christian or otherwise are like those zeolots.
Well done is always better than well said.

I saw a great bumper sticker. "Debate the war, support the troops" Problem is, I think most people think the word "debate" means "disagree with" or "be against" which it doesn't. I think protests are fine in theory. Like when in the past when people marched on washington. They were trying to send a message to the government. Calling a soldier, and individual who was doing something he promised to do, is not only wrong, it's just plain missing the point!! It's like when people throw red paint on something with a fur coat. That's not a protest, it's vandalism!!

The ultimate example of this was when a bunch of anti-nuke idiots threw paint on the Enola Gay at the opening of the National Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy facility near Dulles Airport. Stupid fucks -- the Enola Gay is an important part of history no matter what your opinion may be on nuclear weapons. What the hell is the point of vandalizing it?

It never ceases to amaze me how many fucking idiots there are in this world.

Yeah I hear ya. It's really a case of not seeing the forest for the trees. I have serious issues with the war, but I sure as hell don't blame my buddy who just got out of the AF for it!! Nor do I think my dad made a bad choice enlisting in 68. Hell Nixon was promising to bring everyone home in 6 months!! Sound familiar? Plus he knew if he got drafted he'd get tossed in the jungle. If he enlisted he got to pick what to be trained for, in his case maintenence. Never had to fire his gun outside the range, and he's thankful for it! Hasn't shaved his beard since Nixon got re-elected  IT's been really hard for him to watch as he sees people not aparently learning from the past, but he's not about to go shit on the whitehouse front steps or something! Altho I think he could lay some serious chain if he really wanted to!! :D

I also get peeved when people go on and on and on about "coulda shoulda woulda" stuff, like never should have gone in the first place. OK fine, but how does that change the current situation? Whether or not I agree, it doesn't! How bout a legit suggestion to solving a problem, not just complaining, ya know?
