Damn I hope it warns up soon. We had ice on the motorcycle seats overnight on the way up last year and several feet of snow in the Adirondacks 2 days before we got there. Then it fucking poured down rain for the last three hours or so. I was glad Robin's brother had that wood stove.

my brother rides down then rides back up with us. we got to his house in chazy ny and he heaved that woodstove full of wood and lit it up. we sat around it drinking tomato soup. then I think he and paul switched to whiskey. I dont' think I've ever been so cold.

Mike, Tommy, David, and I froze our asses off on the first day of our pre-BTB trip last year too. Didn't think I'd need the electric vest at the end of May so didn't bring it. I regretted that.

At the Bash. The weekend before, when we set out, it was wet and fucking cold.

One week from today we will be on the road and heading north. Can't wait for my yearly dip into the icy waters of Lake Champlain.

Bikes are ready and sitting on go.
