This is going to be a long day at work, no let me rephrase that. This is a long day.
I have the rest of the day today to get through then one more day tomorrow.
I will be heading north at some point Thursday morning.
I am looking forward to seeing friends from last year and meeting new friends this year.

I will be heading up solo. It looks like about 200 miles estimated time is around 4 hr.
I am going to hit the supper slab for most of the ride up.
Route 146 to through RI. (rt.90 the Mass pike) then up 91 then up 112 to route 9 in to Bennington.
I will probably be heading out around 9/10 in the morning.
I will be up there by late afternoon 2/3 pm.
I plan on checking in to my hotel then head over to the camp ground.
Then I will ride down the mountain to Bennington with the camping crew.
Long day today here at work, it will be even longer tomorrow.

Looking forward to meeting you Bill.
You are going to have to leave pretty early if you plan on getting up there by 2
It's got to be at least an 8 hr. ride.
I rode my Bonny down there a last summer about 9 hr. to Harrisburg.

I'm leaving Maine at 5:00 or 5:30, riding solo this so I'm taking the long way down. Plan on getting there when I get there. I can't wait to here the stories of the past year around the campfires.

Brett

Oh yeah, I have to work a 12hour shift wednesday. 7:30 to 7:30, head home and load the bike!

You have friends? How much did they cost? Image

But seriously. I will be leaving here around 3 or 4 Bill. If you want to delay your departure and hook up that would be good. I am probably going to blow out of work at 2:30 instead of 3:30. They should be cool with that seeing everybody blew out early last Friday and I stayed. I know a hell of a lot of better ways to get there then the way your gonna go. I guarantee a better ride than the way your gonna go.

I have a baseball game with my son after work tomorrow night (Wednesday)
I will be packing as soon as I get home.

I hear you Brian, There are many, many much better roads I could take to get there.
My plan is to hammer down on the slab at least till I get up around the Berkshires.
Then I might do the Mohawk trail then up 8 to rt.9

I also want to check out a rest area on the pike that I am going to meet a bunch of
MY FRIENDS :D in a couple of weeks for another bike run up to the Adirondacks.

email me your cell number and if I can hold out till later in the day I will call you.

I can get there in under 6 hours in a big Truck. I figure I'll do mainly Superslab, I'm figuring about 6.5( I can go much faster on the bike.) But anyway, 4 is ok too....
