Hey all, I'm sure this has been posted on other sites but figured it should be posted here as well. Ok, just to recap from earlier mentionings it's an antique British bike show featuring mostly British bikes with a large side order of American, Italian, German, and Asian bikes. This is a very laid back event which has food and beer at reasonable prices. There are also vendors selling leathers, hats, pins, and whatever. Last year it cost 10.00 to get in and that included having your name put in to win an antique Triumph. Last year the giveaway bike was a 78 Bonneville 750 and it looks like this year it will be a 74 Triumph Trident 750. I don't know what time the gates open because I'm getting my information from http://www.ctbritiron.org/ and they haven't posted a time for opening or closing yet. I'm going to personaly gaurantee if you go you'll have a good time or I'll put a pitcher of beer in front of you to help wash down the dissapointment. Let's get together for this one as the BTB is a long way out right now.

Hey Jimmy, I've been good....riding when I can, mostly little short puts to de-stress, working while worrying about a possible layoff (eeeek!)......the guy I thought might be "the guy" wasn't, LOL- I ended with him on the BTB Weekend (part of why I didn't come), but all is well there. :).....Wow! This site is still the cooliest!!

Hey dudes, it's at 26 Quarry Hill RD. Haddam Neck CT. Here's a link
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Hadda ... ry+Hill+Rd

Would anyone be interested in meeting at the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret? It's nearly a straight shot from there to the fairgrounds.

Hey Todd
Thanks for the address
Let me get in touch with the rest of the crew.
It looks like we can come in to CT. on route 101 and then shoot up on route 169 into
Pomfret. I just don't know where the Vanilla Bean is.

That would be a good route. The Bean is 2.8 miles North once you get on rte 169

It is at the junction of rte 169 and rte 44 At the intersection you take a left and a very quick right. It is on that corner of the intersection.

I've never been there for breakfast but they do have a good lunch menu , coffees good, and are very biker friendly. I think you guys would like it; and there's always a mixture of bikes too.

Ok Bill, I'll stay posted and maybe a few more will join in.
