Paging Jimmy - For Advice!

Jimmy - I need some advice. I am in the market for a 308 and i have always loved the HK91 but it is just to fucking expensive. Therefore, I fell in love with the Springfield SAR-8 and had a deposit down on one a few years ago for $1250 but the guy flaked. I just found this leftover and I'm obsessed -

I got the guy down to $1720 delivered to my FFL. I asked a good friend of mine but he said it was just to much and i should just buy one of the JLD PTR-91, which are made locally here in CT. After looking at these real good he might be right. I just need some more expert opinions so i don't waste my money.

I only wish you had spoke up two weeks ago I let a mint Fn Fal go for $425 with three 20 rounders and a 100 rounds of ammo. I think your friend is on track with the springfield I think its to high and for what your getting its not that great of a rifle but Jeff would be the one to ask I am waiting on your HK price we are becoming a dealer price sheet will be here first of the week. I like the PTR because it is built on the HK 91 blueprints so your getting what you want but not a HK91. PM me a number I will check around for ya.
