Yet another of the 45 ways to go --

684 to 22 North to 55 East past Hunt Country Furniture (don't say that one too fast) to 7 North into Gaylordsville, then ride 30 miles north on 7 to Toymakers / Falls Village, where Hedge mentioned.

That section of seven is 30 miles of corners, laid back to back, & will have all the apple pie and overalls your heart desires, including a tour along the world famous fly fishing portion of the Housatonic River between the two Cornwalls. Very pretty road through there, as cut along the river by wagons in pre-revolutionary war times. For real.

If the consensus is there, I can cut us cross lots from Toymakers on paved back roads through Sheffield & Mill River over to route 8. Memory of this back roads route will not be required for Sunday's return trips. if folks prefer 7 north of Falls Village, it's all good too.

Bucky - I think I can speak for our gang that once we all meet up at the Toymakers we will turn the lead over to you. The further you take us into the back country the more rewarding the ride will be! Hell in a perfect world if we get lost we will have achieved nirvana! :D
