However PBS does their high quality picture and audio for streaming content - the others out there should follow
Their video quality makes Netflix and HBOGO look like local access cable channels

Prayers and kind thoughts your way Mr. Helm

I had the very good fortune of attending a Midnight Ramble at Levon Helm's house in Summer of '11 courtesy of WKZE.
Highlights:
A lifetime fond memory of the delight my 29 year old daughter found in discovering this music
Her's is a lifetime of darkness and struggle - seeing that show was one of her fondest life moments.
Standing 3' from Levon watching him perform
Seeing Levon beam when his daughter sang

+1

Bucky- how fortunate to have been that close to such a musical legend and master. I saw Levon and family perform in 2010 at the Newport Folk Festival, and then again last September at the Life is Good Festival. So special.

around 4:20 - phew!

Now this one.
Gentlemen - if you sing this Diane Warren song softly in your lover's ear - brother you better have your A game ready to roll. ;-)

Damn Brazilians could make the theme from "The Munsters" sound sexy.

The song, written for her sister

starts around 1:50

The back story

And they say Hank could write pain...

For year I thought I was too cool for Country
I missed a lot

The song makes sense if chaos ever was your early life

From one of my favorite songwriters, Diane Warren

Warren's mother wanted her to become a secretary. Her father encouraged her to pursue her musical dreams. She wrote this song for her father.

Another Warren song - if you sing this one in your sweetheart's ear, you best have your A game ready :)

Damn Brazilians - could make a Sousa song sound sexy.

One more of hers

Probably too gooey for most, but talk about well crafted songs, with bass lines exacly where and when and right in the pocket - phew!
