Attn everyone: forum is back

Postby mark » Tue Feb 03, 2015 10:09 am

Hi everyone. Just wanted to give you a heads up that sometime later this week, the whole BTB website, including this forum, will be going down temporarily. We're moving to a different server, so it may take a day or three to get everything back up and running properly, though I'll try to minimize the downtime.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Okay everyone -- sorry for the outage, but the server has been moved and everything is back up and running. Stay tuned for an update to the main BTB website.

Wish I could take credit for it. I was just playing a waiting game like everyone else. Our hosting sponsor, Big Heavy World, switched us to a different server, on their own schedule.

But now it's done, so hopefully things will remain stable for the foreseeable future.

We're all busy in our lives with work and love and...

Do you think there could be updated information on everything for the 2015 Bash. Everything is 2014 dates.

It is rocket science. Yes one would be able to figure out when the actual dates are... Im talking a little professional presentation . It's sort of embarrassing posting a link and it's all out of date.

Thats all...

Yeah, I know, Kenn… I really need to update the website. But as of yet I haven't had a chance to get to it, plus we don't have anything to announce yet anyway.

And I'm not going to pretend there's anything even vaguely professional about any of this. :)

No worries. Believe me, I've been kicking myself over the lack of updates, but the new job is keeping me busy, plus I've got freelance work on the side taking up my evenings/weekends. I was waiting till after the server move to update the site, but I've been slammed ever since so haven't had a chance yet. Soon though! :D

All right, Kenn, thanks for the kick in the ass -- I ate breakfast in front of the computer this morning and got the site updated.

Of course, more extensive updates will be forthcoming as we get the dinner and sponsors worked out.

I like the new Tiger home picture! Looks like you need a 1050 in there-I know where to find one.
BTW-we're in as sponsors again.

Awesome, thanks Jim! Alan and I were just recently talking about starting to reach out to sponsors again, so perfect timing! :D

Funnily enough, there was actually one with us on that trip, but I don't remember now why he didn't make it into the picture. Had to go run an errand or something.
