Absolutely true. And what makes the BTB so great (and keeps me doing it every year) is the people who attend. It's a terrific crowd, awesome people with no attitude to speak of. Thanks to all of YOU guys for making it worth putting the effort into!

And in keeping with the spirit of the weekend, on the ride home Sunday I ended up in an hourlong conversation at the gas station where I'd stopped for a quick break with a guy from New Hampshire who was out riding his Kawi ZRX. Motorcycle people are awesome.

This was my first year and I had an amazing time! A quick note: the buffet lines at both the BBQ and the country club moved so fast and efficiently...that alone should be grounds to legalize lane-splitting!

This years BTB was a treat for sure! Mark B you did a great job even though it practically ran itself. The DAKS ride was wonderful/

Being lucky enough to have my Speed Triple and Thruxton at the BASH for the first and probably last time. I'll probably be on my Explorer next year. Watching Travis ride the piss out of the Thruxton. Then on Tracy Rd. I let him take the Speed and he rode that bike like I never did.

Bryan Cassell was GREAT for doing all the work on that guy Sean's Thruxton changing his tube. Cheers to Byran!

Thank you Travis for bringing my bikes to Bennington! You're a HERO and great friend.

Robin and I just got home today. Went and got beer and something for dinner. Did at least 1500 miles on the way home after 1926 on the way up and 32 for or Saturday ride. After I get my shit together I will contact all the people I promised to contact and post a little more on total miles.

We had a wonderful time again and really enjoyed meeting the new and visiting with old friends. Will probably be Monday before I log on again.

Peace and love. Paul

Linda and I had a great time and want to thank everyone and especially the organizers who worked hard to put this together. For all riders in Dan's group, thanks for looking out for us during our spill and thanks for checking in on us in the hospital. We just got the bike back to the dealer and hope to be on 2 wheels soon. See everyone next year. Oh, and Iwill be leading the SLOW ride next year. Marty and Linda

Glad you and Linda are well and you got the bike back. Hopefully you'll be riding again soon. btw... I thought it was going to be called the "Old Fart's Ride" for next year?

Pam and I had a great time this year. Thank you to the organizers for a fun time and the country club was a really nice change from the Station. Pam won the Alabama gig so we are plotting the 1200+ mile ride from NH. I just got my 24k tune up and new rear tire the day after I returned so I'm ready to go again.
Regards

Hi Jeff - wish we had met up with you and the 'slow riders'. Definitely next year. Right now the insurance is balking at paying repairs so it looks like the bike is a total loss and we are not so sure we can manage to pick up a new Bonneville on our budget. But next year is a new year and hopefully a new bike. We will catch up with you for a ride.

You are right. Over fifty translates to 'old farts' ride. btw.... the bike was declared totaled by our insurance. At least the Arai helmets that saved us are insured seperately but the limit it $500 per helmet and the Arai's cost $600. If our budget allows we still might get up to NH this summer to visit. p.s. Linda is still concussed. I'm just nursing the hip wound for now. Hope we can catch up this summer and thanks for the video.
