My Steamer tonight

Postby sevy » Thu May 15, 2014 10:42 pm

I finally had the time to tear apart the 95 Tiger I bought last summer, and I'm rebuilding, upgrading and setting it up the way I want it. Waiting for the rebuilt shock and forks to come back, and I just sent the o-ring order to Mcmaster for rebuilding the Mikunis. I've done the Keihins on my Legend, but the Mikunis are going to be something new, so I am looking forward to tearing them down. Tons of replacement bits and pieces, as the bike only has 19,000 miles on it, but it is 20 years old, so rubber stuff ages. The carbs come off this weekend, and I'll get the valve clearance check done early next week. With a bit of luck and no backordered parts, I hope to bring it to the Bash. My Legend is all set as back up if I don't get it finished.

Nice. Would be awesome to see a couple of Steamers at the Bash.
