thinking about selling my sprint

Postby funkmasterflu » Fri Jun 10, 2011 9:26 am

hello all if you were at the bash my sprint was the bright orange street fighter with hooligan on the windscreen. i have been thinking about selling it for a while and am not sure what to ask for it. the odometer reads 25k and i have done the 24k mile service actually twice (two different shops) by mistake. it runs great but since it is without the fairings i am not sure what it should/would go for. the only reason i am selling it is because i drive like a moron on it. if i am going anywhere i am doing 80mph. it is a great bike but my speedmaster is fun too and i can only ride one bike at a time. well give me your thoughts they will be greatly appreciated.

That's a tough one. Does it have a clear title or a salvage title?

I have the same ordeal with my Tiger. I'm learning to adjust my wrist but I'm not great with self control...that's why I'm still trying to lose the 25 lbs I put on when i had a beer keg fridge!

 What do you mean you can only ride one at a time? What's that go to do with anything? :lmao:

I do understand the driving like a maniac...I tried to keep up with Rob during the weekend and on the ride home...no luck :dunno:

It has a clean title and I could use the money. And some of the money could go towards a new seat for my speedmaster. Still mulling it over and not sure what to do. It is paid off so it only costs me insurance and registration really as long as I don't play around with the internals lol. I Think asking 4k is too much but some people say start high and work down but if the price is too high some won't even look at it. What say you?

$2500 is probably the right money. But you probably get more enjoyment from it than what the $2500 brings you. I would keep it, costs you nothing but reg and insurance. :P
