Anyone looking at the new Devil?

Postby jefff1 » Sat Mar 26, 2011 8:32 am

8) My local Ducati dealer told me (week ago) the new Diavel was supposed to be on his showroom floor yesterday...Anyone considering looking at the beast for a powerful relatively lightweight (under 500#) cruiser type of bike?

I saw Generro at Cleveland and sat on the bike. It's the real deal as far as I can tell. Carbon is to lust for.......

8) I'll have to go over to Al's to check it out...Saw the new Tiger 800 and Speed Triple at Buck's today...Brian drove in the same time we did so we had a fine time with him...Mrs. Lucky got a new pair of riding booties for the upcoming season...can't argue with the price at Buck's...good selection

I saw the Diavel at the Montreal Motorcycle Show in February. Even uglier in person than in pictures, I thought. Not my cup of tea at all. :puke:

:) Definitely is a different looking beast...sure looks in the pics like it's heavier than it's advertised sub 500# weight...as a power cruiser it's at least 300# less than a Rocket III...maybe more

yes I belive he's "all in" on the XC. I'm trying to wrangle a swap...his vario for my GIVI touring screen before he trades it in. I'm building my courage to ride in today to pick up my neon vest! Next year...heated riding gear!

rode in to pick up my Triumph neon reflector vest and I believe it was a very good investment. Nice Day! a little cool but hey its beats 25. Saw the new Tiger 800 again...nice bike..can't see getting off the 1050 to go to the new 800. A good bike nonetheless. New S3 is sweet! Automatic license suspension as soon as you register it...turn in your license! New Shoei Qwest helmet is very light and pretty quiet.

:) Hard to get rid of a Tiger 1050...I have to be very careful with Speedy on the road...a license revocation waiting to happen...only ride him when I'm with Chris (Sheriff) on his Speedy
